After having spent lots of time with grandparents lately, I am in complete agreement with you. Grandparents will do anything to bring joy to their grandchildren. Kayla talked her Nana into going down the slide with her at the park. :-) All she had to do was saying, "Nana, slide, please" and my mom was going down the slide instead of going back down the ladder.
I think the love of a grandparent adds so much to a child's life. Glad Nate's mom could visit.
