It still fits!
Nate and my six year wedding anniversary is in two weeks and I finally took out my wedding dress to see if it still fits. I know that many brides clean and preserve their dresses after their big day but I got the idea from somewhere to try and fit into my dress every year. I did not even attempt to try it on last year since Noah was only two weeks old and I must admit that I was nervous I would not be able to zip up the zipper this year. All I can say is thank goodness for empire waste dresses!

awww still a beautiful bride! :)
Dawn, that's unbelievable! There is no way I'd fit in mine! Way to go with your early morning exercises - they pay off :)
You are beautiful. Happy Anniversary.
That's incredible! I didn't preserve mine either for the same reason. I haven't tried to put it on since I had Kayla, though...
I am so proud of you for fitting in yours just a year after Noah is born. I remember our talks of being disciplined with reading the Word of God, praying, and exercising. I loved talking with you about it because you weren't just talking; you were trying to put the things we talked about into practice too. This is just the post I needed to read today to keep myself making good food choices at camp. It will pay off when I don't have to lose so much after this baby is born... sigh... :-)
Congratulations!! You look lovely! I don't know how you ladies stay so thin after having children. I forgot to try mine on this year. Happy Anniversary in 2 weeks!!
NO WAY! I'm so jealous! I think tried mine on once last year - it was hopeless :( I guess that's the price you pay for a a-line fitted dress! Happy Anniversary!
Jess-
I know that there is no way my dress would have fit if it was a-line!
Karis-
You look great! I have no doubt that any baby weight you may gain will be quickly taken off; you are far more disciplined then me!
Dawn.. you look wonderful dear! It's funny, I think it might have been me who told you that I was going to try and do that every year. It's kind of a fun challenge... I have to admit, I forgot to try it on this year... and I think it's probably best... perhaps I will aim for next year!
I don't really know how to work this thing.. I had to set up a new one.. Hopefully you can find me.. Let me know..
Jenn
ps.. You look as beautiful as you did on your wedding day!!!
Way to go, Dawn! I haven't tried mine on at all - but you inspire me. :-)
Dawn you still have that new bride smile shows how great you and Nate are together, a match made in heaven.
Love Mom
