The Name

Well, after many hours of looking through the baby name book, talking to friends, and Nate and I throwing names out to each other we have finally decided that our little bundle of joy is going to be named Sophia Ann Mihelis. I thought that naming a girl would be so much easier than naming a boy since we had a girls name picked out when we were pregnant with Noah (Sophia) but then when we found out we were having a girl we (mainly me) could not commit to Sophia. I still liked the name but I found out that it was the most popular name for girls in 2006 and ever since then I didn't want to use it, but every other name we tried just did not seem to fit. I would love a name for about twenty-four hours and then I would hate it; poor Nate did not know what to do with me! Finally I told him that he needed to decide because I was not able to find any name I really loved; he called me from work a few days later and said that he thought she should be called Sophia. There are still moments when I think I might like a different name but we are committed to it!
Her middle name Ann is in honor of both Nate's and my mom; Nate's mom's name is Ann and my mom's middle name is Ann both spell it without an e so that was easy!

We tried to cut back on the binki with Noah but for some reason he has become very attached to them (yes he likes to have two). He usually only puts one in his mouth but there are the times when he likes to make us laugh and puts two in his mouth!

Noah loves to listen to music and dance; he often bring Nate and I into his room has us turn his music on and tells us to dance with him. Here he is litening to the Wiggles and having a ton of fun!

22 week belly shot

I always feel funny putting a picture of my belly on the internet but my mom has been asking for a belly picture so here it is.

Natalie and I have been trying to get together once a week and the weather was so beautiful yesterday that we went outside. The kids had a lot of fun!

Noah carried his basket for about 10 seconds; he picked up one egg and then went right for the swing. This is how he spent the rest of the afternoon!

It's a girl!

We went yesterday for our ultrasound and were excited to find out that we are having a little girl! The tech told us that she was 100% sure that it was a girl and that we would not have any suprises on delivery day! Baby Mihelis is doing well and being much nicer to her mommy; we have not decided on any names yet but we still have a few months to go!

The Bunny

I promise not to go crazy with videos now but I have been telling my family that I would get these up on the blog for weeks now. This video is about three weeks old! Hope it makes you smile. Noah has broken the bunny due to all of the hugs!
